Clinical Supervision for LCSW-A Licensed Social Workers in North Carolina

If you’re working toward full licensure in North Carolina and need a clinical supervisor, let’s chat! I truly enjoy supporting provisionally licensed clinicians as they develop their skills and increase their confidence. My supervision focuses not just on preparing you for independent practice but also on preparing you to pass the licensure exam, which we’ll do through a variety of study techniques and test prep. I’m an especially good fit for child welfare professionals seeking licensure, since I worked in that field for many years and understand the nuances of clinical work in that setting. I also love working with new grads! I’ve taught and supervised adult learners for nearly 10 years, so I understand the support you need in making the transition from a student to a professional.

What does supervision with me look like?

Individual & Group

The majority of our meetings will be one-on-one, but I’ll also incorporate group sessions to provide an opportunity to collaborate and network with other clinicians.

Flexible Fees

My rate for supervision is $100/hour, but I’m happy to have a conversation about what would be manageable for you if you’re paying for supervision on your own.

Collaboration

I approach supervision as an opportunity for collaboration and support, so supervision feels more like a discussion with a trusted colleague than a lecture.

Connection

One of my goals in supervision is to connect newly-licensed providers with a supportive professional network and reliable educational resources, so you feel confident continuing to learn and grow after supervision is over.

  • "It was fantastic meeting with her weekly. She challenged me and supported me!"

  • "Lee Ann was always open to talk about issues outside of our assigned hour each week...you could tell she cared a lot about not only what we were doing in our hours, but also how we were doing as humans and as growing professionals."

  • "I was really lucky to have Lee Ann as a supervisor. Her experience in child welfare was incredibly beneficial while I learned about this difficult system."
